Reward

I’m the family photographer. Among the family, it’s the kids who I love taking photos of. Whenever I show baby photos of to my six-year old niece, she can’t believe how cute she was. She will tell me things she remember from the picture or video now that she can speak her thoughts well. She laughs at how silly and cute she was. Here’s a video of her (she’s the big girl on the photo).

A reward for this photo is guarateed and I am sure to claim it after some years. I don’t want them to grow fast, but I can’t wait to show this epic photo when these babies are old enough. It’s going to be a good laugh! 😀

Jan 4th: First Birthday

It may not be the grandest celebration as before, but we celebrated her first birthday in heaven just as she would’ve wanted it. it was a simple family gathering, but everyone was happy and smiling. All we have are wonderful memories of her smile.

We love you and we miss you Lola Eleng, Lola Taba and Daddy Boy.

Last afternoon with lola

I have something to tell you… I wrote a draft of this in my mind on March 27, 2014. Today is the last day that we’ll be seeing our lola as we bid her goodbye at Memorial Park Dasmariñas. She had lived 90 colourful years. I know it hasn’t been all easy for grandma. I have only lived one-third of her life and experienced a lot of happiness and pain. All my family and anyone who knows Lola Eleng would agree on that, yet she always looked at the brighter side of life that is apparent with her timeless smile.
