A Summer Wave

I am H2O. I’m naturally calm, before life had turned me to ice and steam. Frozen, I need to be strong at the toughest moment – favor professionalism over friendship; justice over empathy; output over effort. Life can be unfair. It often is. And when it is, I breathe deep and slowly release the tension. I try to remain calm before speaking. Extreme emotion begets regrets. Magical – that time of the day when the ocean waves gently crashes to the beach. Calm but not still, the reason why we love the beach. I am at that state, a summer wave.
